Absolutely love this restaurant! The best spring rolls I have ever had. It is a family run restaurant and they are very friendly. My wife and I were consistently remembered. They have a very good priced lunch special. Big plate for a cheap price! Great deals when you pick up and use cash. Very much recommended!

The dry breaded veal is yummy. Going to try the wings tonight.

First time ordering tonight! Christmas Eve!! And it certainly will not be the last!! Best Chinese we’ve ever had!! It was absolutely delicious!! Loved every dish!! It was hot, fresh, and done to perfection!! Highly recommend to everyone!!

Really enjoy the ginger beef. They are fast here and foods always steaming hot, price isnt too bad also.

Ordered for 1st time last week...great won ton soup, chicken balls with s/s sauce & breaded shrimp were good?! Hubby loved them 😏However, my cantonese chicken chow mein lacked flavor...had to add soy sauce as it was too bland.

Greatest Chinese food? No. But the prices are very good. The dry veal lunch special is one of the best values. Also the burgers there are pretty very good. Go to Joes garage on Friday afternoon before 5Pm. $3.50 beers. Bottles no less.

First 1 1/2 years of years this place was my favourite,I recommended to everyone.The care and quality I experienced few times after,made me to never return!! Pricing went up lots as well.When u established your costumer base Szeto's ,You got complacent and now myself and lots more people I know in Transcona go elsewhere.Maybe 1 day you will bring us back!!!

Only place I will EVER order Chinese food from!!When the bldg. was closed couple yrs ago due to some type of water issue/damage we tried several different Chinese food restaurants (4 places). NONE OF THEM EVEN CAME CLOSE TO THAT OF SZETOS. AS LONG AS THEY ARE IN BUSINESS....WE WILL BE ORDERING OUR CHINESE FOOD FROM THEM👍Breaded Crumb Shrimp AND Beef and Mushrooms are our favs !!!!

Usually food is good and very tasty. I ordered some food on November 7th and it was disgusting. Egg roll and shrimp were soggy instead of crispy. Vegetables were raw like they were just cut up and rice was bland and lumpy. Lady said she would let him know and said sorry about that. Didn't even offer a new meal or anything. Don't think I will be ordering from there again.

Crispy egg rolls and the food was served piping HOT! We ate in and for what this place lacks in ambiance it was made up for by fresh tasty dishes. We went in early on Sunday before it got too busy with takeout orders.

Good food, but cash only delivery? Not only do people not really use cash these days, but it's generally not a good idea during these times.

Breaded dry veal was great. The burger and fries were ok. Good size portions though

The server was very friendly and sweet. The food though... I've tasted better. Fried shrimp with bread (calamare? I don't know-- my wife ordered it) was bland so we asked for some sauce. We were given sweet and sour sauce which only have a hint of sweetness and sourness. Breaded veal a bit bland, we just had it packed and ate it at home after adding home made gravy. Chow mein was oily.

Ordered late night dinner at Szeto's for the first time. I called at 10pm to check if they're still open & accepting orders to go, i was told they are closing at 10:30pm. Arrived at the resto about 15mins before closing and told them that i called earlier, the staff were considerate to take our orders and cooked up really delicious meals considering they were already tidying up to close. Staff were friendly and provided really good service! We ordered deluxe fried rice, deluxe lo mien, lemon chicken, and beef with mushroom. Everything tasted delicious!! They also offer discount for cash payments. Will definitely order from here again!

Googled "best chinese Transcona" and this came up. Not at all, terrible soggy fishy Cantonese Chow Mein, dry ginger beef also soggy and bland, lemon chicken okay but not special. I vote avoid.

Food is amazing, bar across the hall is outstanding, great specials, top tier staff, great place to eat and have a drink.

Friendly and quick service but that is where the good ends. I ordered deluxe fried rice. There was some mystery meat in it, and about four to five pieces of shrimp (not whole shrimp, just pieces of shrimp).
